Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Mounting Bracket for the Front Runner 10 inch VX 250 LED Light Bar. Now, this mounting bracket will let you install that 10 inch VX 250 LED light bar onto either your Front Runner Slimline II our Slimsport Platform Racks. Now, the light, this is just for the mounting bracket, the light bar we do sell separately. It goes by part number FR27ZV.

And I happen to pull that apart, just to show you the light bar we're talking about. You can see this is that 10 inch VX 250 light bar. What you would do is just put your wiring through that opening right there, and then the holes would line up, and you'd install it in there just like that. Now, this part I'm going over is just the mounting bracket. We mentioned we do sell the lights separately.

You can also buy these two combined as a kit, and we do sell that separately. It's part number FR45UJ. But basically, this mounting bracket here is designed to slide into the front, the side, or the rear profile channel of your Slimline II Platform Rack, or it'll attach to the side of your Slimsport Platform Rack using existing slat hardware. To show you what we're talking about, I happen to pop up an insert. Shows you the platform rack, and you can see how the bracket's installed, and the gray out areas, the light that goes on the inside here that we just showed you.

Now, this bracket, if you notice, has the side guards on it to protect the light bar from any flying debris. And this bracket is a black powder coated steel construction, so it will resist erosion. Comes with the hardware for installation. Nice set of instructions. Now, last thing I'm gonna do is just go over the dimensions of the bracket.

And I am gonna measure the length, including the side guards here. So from here to here, if we get our tape measured, it's gonna be right at 15 and one eight inches long. The overall height on the bracket is one and three fourths inches tall. And the total depth, which is gonna be right here, is right at two and five eights inches deep.
